A support group can be useful to share ideas and tips and maybe give a different perspective on persistent pain . Our fully subscribed 3 hour workshop(with a Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Twist) was well received by our attendees which was composed of patients and their family members ,medical Doctors and other health care workers .Thanks to the Opening Lotus Counseling ServiceTeam Amanda Ackbarali- Ramdial, Dagenham Johnfinn for leading our sessions covering The Language of Pain ,Perspectives on Pain , Finding Joy in Pain , FAQs on Pain management and and interactive role playing . Also thank you to our guest Louis Lee-sing for her entertaining Extempo session looking at expressing yourself through music and words and Nathaniel Guerra a steel pannist who gave us musical interludes in between our sessions and giving us a more joyful fun and uplifting feel at the end of our workshop.

We look forward to hosting another PainPals Support group session in the future.
